Pandorum (2009)

Pandorum is a 2009 German-British sci fi movie, written by Travis Milloy, directed by Christian Alvart and produced by Paul W.S. Anderson. The film stars Dennis Quaid, Ben Foster and Antje Fraue. Filming began in Berlin in August 2008. Pandorum was released on September 25, 2009 in the United States, and on October 2, 2009 in the UK. The film's title refers to a fictional psychological condition of astronauts who fly through deep space.

Tanis: Year 1
Population: 1213

With our planet Earth destroyed, the 1213 surviving souls from spaceship the Elysium are now a new species on Tanis, and all that is left of humanity. After a 923 year mission they wake up on this blue Earth-like planet with two moons.

However: to create a settlement and the right conditions on Tanis, they need more than what their escape pods offer them.

Corporal Bower, Nadia and three engineers will descent into the ship in a search for the millions of samples of plant and animal life from Earth. Along the way they also have to salvage as much as they can.

On their descent into the hart of the ship, they discover that not only the samples survived the spaceship's crash on Tanis.

Will they be able to collect the samples and to destroy the remaining cannibalistic Hunters, before they escape from the mothership as well?
